Rewards! Rewards! Rewards! That’s often what we have come to expect when we open a new checking account or use a credit card.  Bonus points, flyer miles, rebates and the list goes on and on almost to the point of indifference. But in the end, these are all material rewards that expire, or have a catch, or simply are too good to be true. Matthew 6:19-21 says “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

How about an investment that blesses your heart today and gains rewards for eternity? One of the most precious commodities these days seems to be our “time”. When you invest some of your time in connecting with and participating in a small group, your heart will be blessed beyond measure as you build relationships and encouragement. As you study God’s Word together you grow closer to your Creator, Savior and Redeemer.
