Pastor Brad Reardon

Senior Pastor Brad Reardon

Pastor Brad has been with the church since July, 1985. He has been with the church through its first years of meeting in the Sycamore Community Center, then the move to the DeKalb Hopkins Park Community Center, and now the present church building. Pastor Brad has his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Brad believes his purpose is to magnify the glory of God through the Lordship of Christ to all people in all nations.

Brad is married to JoHannah and has three children: Jason (his wife Reby), Anna (her husband Tobie, children Lily and Mason) and Lindsay (her husband Matt).

Blog: Redeeming Worship

Paul has been on the staff of the church since September of 2000 as the Pastor of Worship and Music. He has received Bachelor and Master degrees in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Northern Illinois University and a Doctor of Worship Studies from the Institute for Worship Studies. He is also the music director for the Kishwaukee Children’s Chorus, a community children’s choir specifically for kids in grades 3-6. Paul believes that God-centered worship is the highest calling for the Christian and that we are spiritually formed as we respond to Him in worship.

Paul is married to Hayeon (a native Korean) and lives in Sycamore. They have three children: Christopher, Mark and Matthew.

Pastor of Student Ministries Gary Lisle

Gary joined our staff in April of 2004. He has been involved in youth ministry since September, 1991. Gary came to faith in Jesus Christ as a high school sophomore following both a religious and an atheistic background. After transferring from the University of Michigan to the Moody Bible Institute, Gary earned a BA in Pastoral Ministries with a youth ministry emphasis in 1995. He is currently pursuing a Master of Ministry degree through Moody Theological Seminary. His life calling is to make disciples of Jesus Christ who love God and love people.

Gary uses a Mac, loves to play sports & video games, enjoys watching good movies and values spending time with his family. He and his wife, Sara, have been happily married since 1996 and have four children: Josiah, Tirza, Caleb and Jonathan. The Lisles absolutely love E Free Church and love living in this community.


Children's Ministry Director Terry Gin

Children’s Ministry Director Terry Gin

Terry joined the church staff in September of 2004. Terry graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1990 with a degree in Child and Family studies. Prior to staying home to be with her children, Terry worked in day care as a teacher, assistant director and executive director. During her years at home she served the Lord through the children’s ministries of teaching Sunday school, Awana leader, coordinating nurseries, and teaching preschool.

Terry has a passionate relationship with the Lord and desires to ignite children and families with that same passion to love and serve Him.

Terry is married to Paul and they have two daughters: Lauren and Kayla. Terry enjoys reading, time with friends and family, skiing, running, swimming and vacations.


Church Secretary Sandy Barnaby

Church Secretary Sandy Barnaby

Sandy joined the church staff in 1997. She was a stay-at-home mom until her children went to school and then started working part-time. She knew it was prayer and the Lord’s guidance that she saw an ad in the newspaper for a part-time secretary opening here. Sandy truly loves working in God’s house, with a Godly staff in which it is obvious they all love the Lord deeply.

Sandy is married to Steve and has two grown children, Angie and Steve Jr., and three grandchildren, Trinity, Hope and Sharisse.

Julie joined the church staff in 2003. She has lived in Sycamore and the same house all but 10 years of her life. She enjoys working in the office and being able to help people is a ministry that she enjoys. In her spare time she likes to ride bike, photography, reading, and playing with her dog Cole.

Julie is married to Phil and has three children, Nick, James (his wife Jess) and Ruth.
