Young Adult Small Group

"If you you love Me, you will keep my commandments." John 14:15
"By this all people willknow that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." John 13:55.

The Young Adult Small Group is open to post high school individuals between the ages of 18-24. The purpose of the group is to grow in the knowledge of the Word of God and to live it out in Christian community. The group meets weekly, year round following a "semester-like" schedule (summer, fall, winter break & spring sessions) with short breaks in between. In addition to weekly study & fellowship, the group is also involved in several service projects throughout the year.

2010 Fall Session Meets Sept. 12th — Dec. 19th (No meeting Nov. 28th)

For the fall session we are studying Christianity Explored, a fast-paced study of the Gospel of Mark. The course explores who Jesus was, what his aims were and what it means to follow him. Each lesson includes a video presentation designed to explain an aspect of Christian belief, followed by group discussion. The first meeting for the fall session will be a Fellowship Dinner on September 12th at 6:00pm (map). The Christianity Explored video study will run September 19th through December 19th. There will be no meeting Thanksgiving weekend (November 28th).

Future Schedule

The group will not meet on Christmas weekend (December 26th). We plan to have a short 2-3 week topic starting January 2nd, and then will begin a full spring session on January 23rd. Watch this space for more details.
